We are proud to announce the re-launch our 'Girls-only' Summer Surf Camps. These are our all-girl instructional surf weeks that demonstrate surfing skills and basic water techniques in a fun way for women of all ages. Learn to surf or improve your skills with fully accredited surf coaches who'll give you practical advice and step-by-step instructions on surfing equipment, etiquette and the ocean.

Who is it for?
Our All Girl surf weeks are open to all girls who are looking to learn or improve their surfing this summer. Our goal is to provide a fun, intimate and nurturing environment while challenging you to break free and overcome your doubts and fears. It doesn't matter if you are young, old, out of shape or just unsure if you can do it. We can help you achieve your surfing goals.

Remember surfing is all about having fun!
And what a better way to do so than in a beautiful island with gorgeous beaches, warm waters and in the company of other girls from all over the world.

Get fit and have fun doing it!
Surfing is an amazing workout - it works your arms, your abs and your legs. Our 2009 Girly Surf Courses will be balanced with yoga classes focussed on easing those aching muscles, stretching, proper breathing techniques and strengthening the muscles used for surfing.

Dates are flexible as flights arrive on different days from different countries. The prices below are based on a 1 week camp between any of these dates:

Please note: Lots of girls are expected to participate so don't miss your chance! Prior registration is essential and, due to demand, numbers are limited.

Your 1 week GIRLS-ONLY SURFING & YOGA Holiday Includes:

• 7 nights Accommodation in our Corralejo Apartments
• 5 days (20 hrs) professional Surfing Tuition
• BSA - British Surfing Association (or equivalent) Qualified Instructors
• SLSA Qualified Lifeguards
• Equipment - Softdeck or Bic surfboards, Wetsuits, Leash etc.
• 2 days Yoga (2x1 hour sessions)
• Daily picnic lunch on the beach (6 days)
• Beach party
• Goodie bag with lycra (rash vest), sun cream, t-shirt...
• Return airport transfers
• Daily transport to surf in 4x4 vehicles
EXTRAS – there will also be an interesting trip to a local Aloe Vera farm included where you can see how it all works your goodie bags will include some testers too! There will also be other nights out arranged on-site (dinners/bbq’s etc.)

A TYPICAL SURFING DAY

Your base is the pictoresque coastal town of Corralejo. Corralejo is also the start of a 20 km stretch of coastline littered with reef and beach breaks. The Surf School is mobile and backed by a fleet of off road vehicles to ensure you surf the best spots during your stay. The outline below will give you a rough idea of what your day on the All Girl Surf & Yoga holiday in Fuerteventura might be like:

08:30-09:30 Continental breakfast at the Surf Hostel.

09:30- 10:00 Accommodation pick-up.

10:00-10:30 The search begins in 4x4 land rovers to find the beach with the best surf conditions. Unload the equipment and setup camp on the beach.

10:30-11:00 Discuss lesson plan for different levels. Theory, safety and practice on the beach.

11:00-11:30 Warm-up, stretching and simple exercises on the beach.

11:30-13:00 In the water! Surfing under the personal supervision of the surf instructors offering encouragment and correcting any mistakes/bad habits.

13:00-13:30 Review the morning session. Refuel with a picnic lunch on the beach and top up your tan.

13:30-15:00 More stretching in preparation for the 2nd surf session. Back in the water to practice everything you learned from the morning sesssion and perfect your surfing technique.

15:30 Muster up a final bit of energy to help stack all the boards on the Land Rover and head home.

16:00+ Chill out in your accommodation and recover from a hard days surfing. Share your surfing experiences with other girls from around the world and later perhaps head into town for a meal together and, for those who still have the energy, join a party at one of the local hot spots.
