WINDSURFING HOLIDAYS IN LANZAROTE (TitRoyGatra)
SCORCHED, TORCHED AND STARKLY BEAUTIFUL
Lanzarote is the most northerly and easterly of the Canary Islands
and is loacted approx. 68 miles
off the north African coast. A
number of other smaller islands lie to
the north of Lanzarote. They consist
of La Graciosa, Alegranza, Montaña
Clara and Los Roques. All except
La Graciosa are uninhabited.
LANZAROTE: THE ISLAND OF FIRE AND FURY
A series of volcanic eruptions took place in the south west of the island over a period of 6 years from 1730 to 1736. This area occupies 1/4 of the islands land mass and has been declared a national park (Timanfaya National Park). Lanzarote compared to the other islands is THE 'volcanic island'. It consists of about 300 extinct volcanoes, scattered lava fields and beautiful white and black sandy beaches. Also worth exploring are its many caverns, lava flows and craters. Some of these natural phenomena have been turned into places of great beauty and tourist attractions. Outstanding examples are Jameos del Agua (Lava chambers) and Cueva de los Verdes (Green caves).
CLIMATE AND WEATHER
The weather conditions are almost always favourable. In summer it can get very hot, whilst during the winter it can be cooler and cloudy with spells of occasional rain.

COSTA TEGUISE
Costa Teguise could never really be ever described as wild, but it's certainly quite lively which is why it's popular with families and single travellers looking to meet other people and enjoy the nightlife.
Costa Teguise is a purpose built tourist resort but considerable care has gone into the planning and layout of the town and its wide, traffic free promenade and broad tree lined avenues make getting around on foot easy. Costa Teguise is only 2-miles long by about 1-mile wide and most visitors find the resort surprisingly compact and easy to navigate.
Another great incentive is Costa Teguise's wide range of sports from the most varied marine activities that can be enjoyed from its incredible beaches (diving, windsurfing, sailing, deep sea fishing, etc.) to golf, an aquatic park, squash, tennis, paddle ball, and the dozens of private sports centres. Costa Teguise is the ideal place for rest, relaxation and fun!
LAS CUCHARAS BEACH

It is also one of the beast windsurfing beachs in Lanzarote.
